Whole Grains, An Introduction.

Cooking with the Cul-de-sac Woman, Episode #35-A: Whole Grains 101: wheat, non-wheat, gluten free, and pseudo – (See Episode #35-B for Thanksgiving side dish recipe). More: (1) The versatility of whole grains allows us, in many cases, to switch one out for the other in our favorite "recipes" – each grain will have its' own "cooking" requirements (see package instructions). (2) Einkorn & Freekeh (grains) and Chia (seed) are also considered "Ancient" – packaging & product descriptions are continually being revised and updated. (3) I found some packaged "sprouted" grains in my grocery store rice/grain sections (not Produce).
